I am
looking forward to a great year filled with hard work and a lot of fun.
We will be returning to school on August 30, 2006. You will be expected
to be in the school cafeteria by 8:25 am. Breakfast will be served in
the school cafeteria starting at 7:45 am. This is when you will be
admitted to the building. The tables assigned to our class in the
cafeteria are clearly labeled with my name. Uniforms will be required
on each and every day of school, unless otherwise specifically noted by
the school principal, Ms. Okun. School uniforms consist of blue
trousers and a yellow shirt for the boys and a blue skirt and yellow
shirt for the girls. Any questions about the school uniform can be
answered by calling the school office at the following
number: 718-342-4747. Uniform questions are to be directed to Ms.
Valerie. Any necessary purchases of uniforms can be arranged through
the same office by speaking to Ms. Simone. Metro passes for the bus or
subway can also be obtained by speaking with Ms. Valerie.
The following
is a list of supplies you will need for the first day of class:
6 Marble Notebooks (at
least 100 pages)
1 Package looseleaf paper (100 sheets)
4 Black ball point pens
4 No. 2 pencils (sharpened)
1 Pair of scissors
1 Box of crayons
1 Permanent marker, black, broad tipped
Other items will be requested as needed.
